Having recently retired, and in response to the crisis facing Australia and the world, I have decided to contest the seat of Hotham on behalf of the Australian Citizens Party at the upcoming federal election.

My professional background is in engineering. I was Director of a logistics company and a pioneer of the Paper Recycling Industry in Australia, and I have also worked in the transport sector for many years.

I was the Founder and Director of my local community radio station; Group Leader of the local Scout group; and Committee Member of the local Pony Club.

My hobbies include a love of equestrian sports, a passion for classic cars and motor sports as well as the arts. In retirement I devote as much time as possible to my family, especially the grandchildren.

Over the years I have been an active campaigner for men’s rights, both legal and health issues.

I joined the ACP as a member and supporter 14 years ago, and during that time have actively participated in countless campaigns and mobilisations, and volunteered to support ACP policies and work in any way I can.

In standing for the seat of Hotham, I will fight to “Return Government to the People”. I will promote common sense policies to uphold that old-fashioned ideal of the Common Good which used to be the standard for all political representatives. Sadly, that is no longer the case. We have a Uni-party today that serves the interests of the corporate elites and foreign powers, that punishes whistle-blowers instead of crooks and criminals; that puts politics above people. There is no excuse for homelessness and poverty in our country and I believe the policies of the ACP are best placed to turn our nation around and give hope and optimism back to our young people.
