I am a 46 year old practising Civil Engineer who lives in Coopers Plains. I have been directly involved in the design and delivery of numerous public infrastructure projects and new housing communities across South-East Queensland for over two decades.
I’m not a professional or career politician. However, I take the Citizens Party motto of “Citizens Taking Responsibility” to heart. I believe the quality of our government can be improved by more ordinary people with real life experience putting their hand up to run as a candidate. As a former local branch member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) I became disillusioned with the nature of the major party duopoly and have been contributing to the Citizens Party as an active member since 2021.
I am passionate about infrastructure and planning. As a long-term resident of Moreton, I’m dedicated to working with community groups to achieve the best outcome for the local residents and the area’s future. I was involved in the 2021 Senate Inquiry hearings into the Inland Rail Project as an expert local witness and was a member of the ARTC Community Consultative Committee (CCC) for the Kagaru to Acacia Ridge (K2ARB) section.
