I have been a proud resident of Melbourne’s Northern suburbs for fifteen years and am the CEO and founder of Platinum Medical Imaging and President of Bassima Foundation.

As a self-made entrepreneur and advocate for women’s empowerment, I have had the privilege of training and employing individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Jordan, Portugal, Australia, Vietnam, and Lebanon.

Through The Bassima Foundation, I am dedicated to supporting the City of Hume by providing free community space in the north for events.

At Platinum Medical Imaging we offer vital medical services to asylum seekers, Palestinian refugees, and those facing financial hardship.

I also lead two key initiatives, Platinum Rewind and Bassima Platinum promoting health and education.

As a daughter, mother, and grandmother, I am family orientated and passionate about my family. I am deeply committed to social justice and supporting vulnerable communities.

My mission is to foster inclusiveness, diversity, and equality in the district of Calwell, ensuring that every resident feels supported and valued.
