In the 1950’s and 60’s Australia advertised abroad to attract skilled workers, and at two years of age, my parents, along with me and my two brothers took up the challenge and touched down on Western Australia soil in 1962. We then moved to Sydney’s west where, along with an additional sister and brother, grew up attending the public school system – by high school I realised I was more of a creative than an academic.

Completing two years of TAFE graphic design at age 18, I then worked in a few major advertising agencies benefiting by working closely with various mentors. During this time, my eyes were opened not only to the immense power of the media and marketing but also to corporate corruption, and by age 23, I left the agency in disgust to start my own creative advertising business, servicing an array of industries. At 26 I took a 3-year sabbatical as a marketing manager working here and abroad, achieving several successes plus managed to attend private courses in marketing, psychology and barriers to learning. My 30’s (1990’s) was consumed in growing a successful and creative Sydney-based, multi-faceted below-the-line advertising company servicing an impressive collection of blue-chip companies.

In 2000 I met my love Heather and moved to her hometown in Victoria’s east, got married and started a family. Still in the advertising industry, I also worked for companies, and consulted and volunteered on the board of a major community centre in Springvale. All was fine for some years until Heather was diagnosed with cancer, then Covid hit, our family copped the brunt of the Covid lockdowns etc. Seeking out medical help for Heather landed us in Upper Coomera. Heather passed away while my son and I were held in hotel quarantine – that was gruelling for all of us.

So now there is just my son Adam and I and some very dear friends. Adam is now in university on his chosen path, and I am semi-retired and ready for the next leg of my career.

Six years ago, I discovered, investigated and then started working with the Australian Citizens Party (ACP). I was truly delighted and gratified because the ACP are really for the citizens; they are fearless and want to save and improve our country by:

  • reforming our banking and financial sector with a proven successful National public bank
  • saving the use of cash
  • building on our countries resources to dramatically improve our exchange value with the rest of the world, and
  • helping Aussie citizens take responsibility for our rights, our rights to free speech, our country and our future.

Recent history now shows us we cannot simply leave it to our government – now it’s all about “Citizens Taking Responsibility” – will you join us?
